Please read these reminders before you proceed, which have been revised effective April 22, 2026.
REQUESTS LIMITS
Each household may request one (1) weekend and five (5) weekday Mass intention PER quarter PER year.
A maximum of four (4) Mass intentions per year may be requested for any one living or deceased individual or family members from a particular family.
To ensure fairness, we will monitor that different individuals are not requesting multiple Masses for the same deceased person.
A Mass intention may be requested for:
A deceased loved one or family members (e.g., Living and deceased of the _______ family or families)
A living person who is sick or suffering
A living person celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion
In thanksgiving to God (including our Lord Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit)
In thanksgiving for prayers answered through a Blessed or Saint
Any prayer intention that does not contradict Church teaching
Bulletin Listings
To maintain brevity in our bulletin, intention listings are limited to two names or one group.
Please indicate clearly if the person is living or deceased.
Middle initials and titles may be omitted.
Requests must be made 10 days before your requested dates to make sure it is included in the bulletin.
Currently, online requests are available ONLY if you are paying by credit or debit card. So, please have it handy before you proceed.
If you prefer to pay via cash or check (payable to Immaculate Conception Parish), please call the Parish Front Office at 203 574-0017, who will process your request.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, if the phone is busy, please call back. After requesting the Mass Intention. you must send offering within ten (10) business days by dropping it (cash or check) in the offertory basket or by mailing it (check only) to the Immaculate Conception Parish Office, 74 W. Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702, Attention: Front Office Team. Note the date and time of the requested Mass on the memo section of the check.
If the parish office does not receive offering in time, you will lose your reserved Mass intention.
The schedule of Mass intentions is subject to change due to priest illness, diocesan obligations, or schedule adjustments.
We will attempt to contact affected parties with as much advance notice as possible.
While we understand this will be an adjustment for some parishioners, these policies ensure that our entire parish community—especially those grieving recent losses—has access to this profound spiritual gift.
